# Active Manager

> Active Manager is cloud software that automates LinkedIn and email outreach. You add leads from 11 sources, build multi-step sequences of invites, messages and emails with branches and delays, and read replies from your leads on LinkedIn in one inbox. It includes an email finder, personalisation with fallbacks, A/B testing, step-level analytics, HubSpot, webhook and API integrations, and team workspaces. Everything runs in the cloud within the working hours, days off and daily limits you set.

- **How it runs:** Active Manager runs in the cloud, so there's nothing to download and your campaigns keep going with your laptop closed. You connect LinkedIn by signing in from Active Manager, or with our Chrome extension if you'd rather not share your password. You choose a daily limit for each action, and Active Manager never goes over it: up to 75 connection requests, 100 messages (150 on Premium or Sales Navigator), 400 profile views and 100 endorsements, likes or follows a day. Numbers vary a little from day to day, and weekends are quieter. New accounts start at about a fifth of your limits and warm up to them over their first weeks.

**FAQ:**

- Do I need to install anything? No. Active Manager runs in the cloud, so there's nothing to download and your campaigns keep going with your laptop closed. You connect LinkedIn by signing in from Active Manager, or with our Chrome extension if you'd rather not share your password.
- Do I need LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator? No. Active Manager works with free LinkedIn, Premium, Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite accounts. You only need Sales Navigator or Recruiter to pull leads from their searches and lists.
- Can I connect more than one LinkedIn account? Each seat connects one LinkedIn account: the account of the person using it. To run outreach from several accounts, add a seat for each one and manage them together in a team workspace on Scale.
- Can I write my messages in any language? Yes. Messages, variables and fallbacks work in any language. The Active Manager app itself is in English.
- What happens after the 7-day trial? Pick a plan to keep your campaigns running. If you don't, they pause. You never entered a card, so nothing is charged.
- Is it safe to use Active Manager with my LinkedIn account? Like every LinkedIn automation tool, Active Manager can't promise LinkedIn will never restrict an account. In practice it's extremely rare. On paid plans, each LinkedIn account works from its own dedicated, high-quality residential IP address in your country. New accounts warm up gradually, starting with low daily limits that rise week by week. Actions go out in short sessions at varied times within your working hours, daily limits stay below LinkedIn's, and everything pauses if LinkedIn shows a security check. To stay safe, don't send connection requests or outreach outside Active Manager, by hand or with another tool, because LinkedIn counts all of it toward its limits.
- Can I keep using LinkedIn while my campaigns run? Yes. Browse, post and reply to messages as usual. Just don't send connection requests or bulk messages outside Active Manager: LinkedIn counts all of your activity toward its limits, and Active Manager can only keep you inside them if it sends your outreach.
- How many invites and messages can I send? You choose a daily limit for each action, and Active Manager never goes over it: up to 75 connection requests, 100 messages (150 on Premium or Sales Navigator), 400 profile views and 100 endorsements, likes or follows a day. Numbers vary a little from day to day, and weekends are quieter. New accounts start at about a fifth of your limits and warm up to them over their first weeks.
- Do I get my own IP address? Yes. On paid plans, each LinkedIn account gets its own dedicated residential IP address in its own country. It stays the same for as long as the account is connected and is never shared with another active account.
- Is my LinkedIn password safe? Your password, session and any authenticator key are encrypted with AWS Key Management Service and used only to run your actions. If you'd rather not share your password, connect with our Chrome extension instead.
- Where is my data stored? In the United States, on Amazon Web Services and Supabase, encrypted at rest. Our Privacy Policy lists every provider we use and what they handle.
- Is Active Manager affiliated with LinkedIn? No. LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. Active Manager is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn.
- Will anyone get the same message twice? No. A lead can be active in only one of your campaigns at a time, and a reply on LinkedIn or by email stops their sequence in every campaign. You can also skip people you are already connected with.
- Can I make sure certain people are never contacted? Yes. Add them to your blacklist by LinkedIn profile or email address, and Active Manager won't contact them in any campaign.
- How do I keep messages from sounding automated? Write them in your own words. Use variables like {first_name} and {company} with a fallback for missing data, test up to 3 versions of a message, and let Active Manager send at varied times inside your working hours, never in one burst.
- Can I add email to my sequences? Yes. Connect your own mailbox and add email steps between your LinkedIn steps. The email finder looks up verified work addresses, and every email goes out from your own address.
- Can I see what's working? Yes. Each campaign shows acceptance and reply rates, with counts for every step and results for each A/B variant.
- Can I connect Active Manager to my CRM? Advanced includes webhooks, so replies and accepted invites can go straight to Zapier, Make, Google Sheets or any tool that accepts them. HubSpot sync and the API come with Scale: talk to us and we'll set them up for your team.
- Can my team use it together? Yes. On Scale, team workspaces let you share templates and campaigns and give each person an owner, manager or user role. Every teammate needs their own seat.
- What does the price include? Prices are per user, and each user connects one LinkedIn account. They are in US dollars, plus tax where it applies. Pro and Advanced include 100 email-finder credits a month, and a credit is used only when a verified email is found. Unused credits don't roll over. Need more? Add 1,000 credits for $29, 2,000 for $49, 5,000 for $69 or 10,000 for $99.
- Can I pay yearly? Yes. Annual billing saves up to 34% compared with paying monthly.
- How do I pay? By card, through Paddle, our reseller. Paddle handles sales tax and VAT and sends your invoices.
- Can I change plans or cancel? Yes, at any time from your account settings. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. If you ask within 14 days of your first payment, we refund it in full.
