Refund Policy
Last updated
This Refund Policy is part of the Terms and Conditions of Kifas Labs Ltd. ("Active Manager", "we"). Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and processes every refund.
Try it before you pay
Every account starts with a 7-day free trial, with no payment card. You are not charged anything during the trial or when it ends. If you don't choose a plan, your campaigns simply pause.
14-day refund on your first payment
If you're not happy with Active Manager, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment for a plan and we will refund that payment in full. This applies to monthly and yearly plans, and to the first payment for an email-finder credit pack as long as you have not used any of its credits.
If you upgrade within those 14 days, the refund also covers the upgrade charge.
Renewals
- Monthly renewals are not refunded. You can cancel at any time from Account settings, and you won't be charged again. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
- Yearly renewals: if you meant to cancel and forgot, ask within 14 days of the renewal charge and we will refund it in full.
- We don't give partial (pro-rata) refunds for the unused part of a billing period after you cancel, except as described here or where the law requires it.
Plan changes
When you upgrade or downgrade, Paddle calculates a prorated charge or credit for the rest of your billing period. A credit from a downgrade is applied to your future invoices, not paid out.
Other cases
We will also refund you if:
- you were charged twice or charged by mistake;
- we end your access without cause, for the prepaid time you have not used; or
- we remove a major feature of your paid plan and you cancel because of it, for the prepaid time you have not used.
- you object to a new sub-processor under our Data Processing Agreement and end the affected service, for the prepaid time you have not used.
Things that don't qualify
- Time remaining in a billing period after the 14-day windows above.
- Used email-finder credits.
- Requests where we reasonably see abuse, such as repeated purchases and refunds, or where we ended access because of a serious breach of our Terms.
A LinkedIn restriction on your account is a known risk of automation, explained in section 2 of our Terms and Conditions. It is covered by the 14-day refund on your first payment, but it doesn't create a right to a refund outside it.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days. Our 14-day refund on your first payment applies whether or not you have started using the Service.
How to ask for a refund
Email support@activemanager.ai from the address on your account, with your invoice number or the date of the charge. You can also contact Paddle directly through the link on your receipt or at paddle.net.
Paddle sends approved refunds to the payment method you used, including any tax charged. They usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. Paddle may also give refunds under its own Buyer Terms.
Please talk to us before opening a chargeback with your bank. We can usually sort things out faster.
