Terms and Conditions

Last updated 21 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Kifas Labs Ltd. ("Active Manager", "we", "us"). They cover the Active Manager website at https://www.activemanager.ai, the app at https://app.activemanager.ai, our browser extension, API and related services (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, starting a trial or buying a subscription, you accept these Terms. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm that you can bind that company, and "you" means both you and the company.

Please read the LinkedIn risk section (section 2) carefully. It explains a real risk to your LinkedIn account.

1. What Active Manager does

Active Manager automates outreach from your own LinkedIn account and your own mailbox. You connect them, add leads, and build sequences of steps such as profile visits, invitations, messages and emails. The Service then performs those steps for you from the cloud, on the schedule and within the limits you set, and collects the replies in one inbox.

To do this, the Service signs in to LinkedIn as you, using a dedicated IP address in your country, and sends email through your mailbox.

2. LinkedIn automation risks (please read)

Active Manager is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn. LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation.

Automating a LinkedIn account may breach LinkedIn's User Agreement. LinkedIn's terms restrict the use of software, bots and browser extensions that automate activity, and the copying of data from its site. Using Active Manager with your LinkedIn account may be treated by LinkedIn as a breach of its terms.

LinkedIn may restrict or ban your account. LinkedIn can, at any time and for any reason, show you security checks, limit your invitations or messages, temporarily restrict your account, or permanently close it. This can happen even when you use conservative limits, and even if Active Manager works exactly as intended. You could lose access to your connections, messages, content and any paid LinkedIn subscription.

What we do to reduce the risk. The Service keeps activity within the daily limits you set, warms up new accounts gradually, spreads actions through your working hours with human-like pauses, and pauses activity when LinkedIn shows a security check or limit. These measures reduce the risk. They do not remove it, and we do not promise any result.

By connecting a LinkedIn account, you confirm that:

  • the LinkedIn account is your own, and you are allowed to connect it;
  • you have read and understood the risks in this section;
  • you choose to use automation and accept the risk of restriction, suspension or loss of your LinkedIn account; and
  • you remain responsible for your LinkedIn account and for your compliance with LinkedIn's terms.

We are not liable for any action LinkedIn takes against your account, or for any loss that results from it, including lost contacts, messages, opportunities, revenue or LinkedIn subscription fees. A LinkedIn restriction is not a reason for a refund, except as stated in our Refund Policy or required by law.

LinkedIn can also change its website at any time. Some features may stop working, temporarily or for good, as a result.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
  • Active Manager is not currently offered in the European Economic Area (the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). Don't create an account or use the Service from there, or on behalf of a business established there. If we find that an account is, we may close it and refund any prepaid fees.
  • Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password safe. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • One account is for one person. Each account can connect one LinkedIn account, and it must be the account holder's own.
  • Tell us at support@activemanager.ai straight away if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

Teams. A team owner can invite users and give them Owner, Manager or User roles. Owners and managers can view and act on their team members' campaigns, leads and statistics. The team owner is responsible for the people they invite.

4. Free trial

  • New accounts get a 7-day free trial. No payment card is needed.
  • During the trial you can use the features of a paid plan we choose (currently Advanced).
  • One trial per person and per LinkedIn account. If a LinkedIn account has already been used for a trial, the new trial ends when that LinkedIn account is connected.
  • When the trial ends, your campaigns pause until you choose a plan. You are never charged automatically at the end of a trial, because you never gave us a card.
  • We may change or end trial offers for new sign-ups at any time.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paddle is our reseller. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it sells the subscription to you, takes payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues invoices. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase, in addition to these Terms. Paddle handles payment questions and refunds on our behalf, and you can also contact us at support@activemanager.ai.

Plans and prices. Our plans (currently Pro, Advanced and Scale) and their prices are shown on our pricing page at https://www.activemanager.ai and at checkout. Scale is offered on terms we agree with you. Prices are per user (seat), in US dollars, and exclude tax, which Paddle adds where it applies. Add-ons, such as email-finder credit packs, are billed as a separate subscription.

Billing cycle and renewal. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. They renew automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on each renewal.

Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from your next renewal after that notice. If you do not agree, cancel before the renewal.

Changing plans.

  • An upgrade, or a downgrade on the same billing interval, takes effect immediately. Paddle calculates a prorated charge or credit for the rest of the current period.
  • A switch between monthly and yearly billing takes effect at the start of your next billing period.
  • Features and limits follow your new plan from the moment the change takes effect.

Pausing. Where we offer it, you can pause a monthly subscription for a set period. While paused, automation stops and you are not charged.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it. Your campaigns keep running for 7 days. After that, automation stops until the payment succeeds. We may cancel the subscription if payment is still not made.

Email-finder credits. Credits are used only when a verified email address is found. Credits reset each month and unused credits do not carry over. Credits have no cash value.

6. Cancellation

  • You can cancel at any time from Account settings in the app.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then, and you will not be charged again.
  • We do not give partial refunds for unused time in a billing period, except as set out in our Refund Policy or required by law.
  • To delete your account, cancel any paid subscription first, then delete the account from Account settings. Deletion is permanent.

7. Refunds

Refunds are described in our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms. Paddle processes all refunds.

8. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

You decide whom to contact, what to say, and how to use the data in your account. You are responsible for your outreach and for complying with every law and third-party term that applies to it. In particular, you must:

  • have a lawful basis for collecting, storing and using each lead's personal data and for contacting them, and give them any notice the law requires, including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the ePrivacy rules and PECR, the CCPA/CPRA and Israel's Protection of Privacy Law;
  • follow anti-spam laws, such as the US CAN-SPAM Act, Canada's CASL, the UK PECR, the EU ePrivacy rules and Israel's Communications Law (the "Spam Law"), including identifying yourself, including a working way to opt out and honouring opt-outs promptly. Our unsubscribe footer is on by default; if you turn it off, you remain responsible for giving recipients a way to opt out;
  • follow the terms of LinkedIn and of your email provider, accepting the risk described in section 2;
  • handle requests from your leads (access, deletion, objection, opt-out) and stop contacting anyone who asks you to;
  • only upload data you are allowed to use, and only connect accounts and mailboxes that you own or are authorised to use.

You must not use the Service to:

  • send spam, bulk unsolicited messages that break the law, or messages to people who have opted out;
  • harass, threaten, defame, discriminate against or mislead anyone, or impersonate any person or organisation;
  • send unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, violent or fraudulent content, or content that promotes illegal goods or services;
  • send malware, phishing links or anything designed to harm devices or steal data;
  • collect or process special categories of data (for example health, religion, sexual orientation or political opinions), children's data, or data about people you have no lawful reason to contact;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • sell, rent or publish lead data in breach of the law or of the source's terms;
  • try to get around the Service's limits, security or billing, share your account, or resell the Service without our written agreement;
  • copy, reverse engineer or disrupt the Service, or access it by automated means other than our API;
  • use the Service in breach of export controls or sanctions, or if you are in a sanctioned country or on a sanctions list.

We may limit, pause or block activity that we reasonably believe breaks this section or puts the Service, our providers or other customers at risk.

9. Your data and our role

You own your content and data. That includes your messages, templates, campaigns and the lead data in your account ("Customer Data"). You give us permission to host, copy, process and transmit Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you, and as you instruct (for example through integrations you turn on).

We are your processor. For personal data in Customer Data, you are the controller and we are your processor (or service provider). We process it only on your documented instructions, which are these Terms and your use of the Service. Our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), including the list of sub-processors and the Standard Contractual Clauses, is part of these Terms and applies to that processing. Our current sub-processors are listed in our Privacy Policy.

Your LinkedIn and mailbox credentials are encrypted and used only to perform the actions you schedule and to keep your session working.

Usage data. We may use data about how the Service is used, in aggregated form that does not identify you or your leads, to run, secure and improve the Service.

Export and deletion. You can export your leads and campaign results while you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete Customer Data as described in our Privacy Policy.

How we handle personal data for which we are the controller is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. AI features

Some features use AI (provided by Anthropic) to suggest message text, classify replies and score leads. AI output can be inaccurate or unsuitable. Review it before you send it. You are responsible for the messages that go out from your accounts. We do not use your Customer Data to train AI models.

11. Third-party services

The Service works with services we do not control, including LinkedIn, your email provider, Google, HubSpot, Paddle and the tools you connect through webhooks or our API. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for them, for their availability, or for changes they make that affect the Service. If a third party changes or withdraws access we rely on, we may have to change or remove a feature.

12. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, templates and brand, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription, for your internal business purposes, under these Terms. We keep all other rights.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely, without owing you anything.

13. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and we may add, change or remove features. If we remove a major feature of your paid plan, we will tell you in advance, and you may cancel and receive a prorated refund for any prepaid period you have not used.

Features marked as beta or early access are provided as they are and may change or end.

14. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not promise any outcome from using the Service, such as a number of replies, meetings or sales, or that your LinkedIn account or mailbox will not be restricted, limited or flagged as spam.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data or opportunities.
  • We are not liable for any restriction, suspension or closure of your LinkedIn account or mailbox, or for any consequence of it.
  • Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and they do not apply to your payment obligations or your obligations under section 16.

16. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us, our affiliates and our staff against any third-party claim, and the losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from it, that results from your Customer Data, your outreach, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of any law or third-party terms, including LinkedIn's terms and anti-spam and data protection laws. We will tell you promptly about the claim and let you control its defence, and you will not settle it in a way that admits fault on our behalf without our consent.

17. Suspension and termination

By you. You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time (section 6).

By us. We may suspend or end your access, with notice where reasonable, if:

  • you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, especially section 8;
  • you do not pay;
  • your use creates a security, legal or reputational risk for us, our providers or other customers; or
  • the law, a court, or a provider we depend on requires it.

If we end your access without cause, we will refund any prepaid amount for the unused period.

What happens next. When your access ends, automation stops. You can export your data for 30 days after termination, unless we ended access because of a serious breach or the law prevents it. After that we may delete your data, as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 2, 9, 14, 15, 16 and 19) survive termination.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new date. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms takes away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim in your local courts.

Before starting a formal dispute, please write to support@activemanager.ai so we can try to resolve it within 30 days.

20. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Cookie Policy, our Data Processing Agreement and any order form for the Scale plan, are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If an order form conflicts with these Terms, the order form wins.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
  • Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including outages or changes at third-party platforms.
  • Notices. We send notices to the email address on your account. You send notices to support@activemanager.ai.
  • Language. If we translate these Terms, the English version prevails.
